# Shallow Turbo Dive Site – Gili Trawangan

Shallow Turbo is an excellent beginner-friendly dive site located off Gili Trawangan in Indonesia’s Gili Islands. This accessible reef dive features depths ranging from 5 to 15 meters, making it ideal for newly certified divers and snorkelers alike.

The site showcases a vibrant coral garden with diverse hard and soft corals creating a colorful underwater landscape. Divers encounter abundant reef fish including snappers, groupers, and fusiliers, along with occasional sea turtles gliding through the water. Smaller marine creatures such as nudibranches and crustaceans inhabit the reef crevices.

The gentle slope and shallow depth provide excellent visibility and minimal current, allowing divers to explore comfortably at a leisurely pace. The sandy bottom offers a safe area for skill practice and orientation.

Shallow Turbo’s protected shallow reef structure, combined with abundant marine life and easy accessibility, makes it one of Gili Trawangan’s most popular introductory dive destinations.
