Dive Conditions
Good Heart is a popular reef dive site located off Gili Trawangan in the Gili Islands, Indonesia. This intermediate-level dive features a vibrant coral reef ecosystem with depths ranging from 5 to 25 meters, making it suitable for certified divers with some experience.
Divers encounter colorful hard and soft corals, dramatic rock formations, and sandy patches teeming with marine life. The site is known for abundant fish schools, including fusiliers, snappers, and trevally. Reef sharks, rays, and sea turtles are frequently spotted, particularly during peak season. Smaller creatures like nudibranchs, crustaceans, and moray eels hide within the coral crevices.
Good Heart offers excellent visibility typically ranging from 10-20 meters, depending on conditions and season. The moderate current occasionally flows through the site, which helps attract larger pelagic species. The site’s name reflects the local community spirit, and it remains a favorite among dive operators in the Gili Islands for its diverse marine biodiversity and accessible depth range.
