# King Cruiser Wreck Dive Site
Dive Conditions
The King Cruiser is a 86-meter passenger ferry that sank in 1997, now resting at 35 meters in the Andaman Sea near Koh Phi Phi. This intermediate to advanced wreck dive offers stunning exploration of the ship’s structure, including the bridge, cabins, and cargo holds.
Divers encounter abundant marine life thriving on the wreck, including groupers, snappers, fusiliers, and barracudas. Soft corals and anemones blanket the exterior, while nudibranchs and crustaceans inhabit sheltered areas. Occasional encounters with reef sharks and rays add excitement to deeper sections.
The wreck’s depth of 35 meters and complex interior require solid diving experience and certification. Strong currents are common, making this suitable for advanced recreational divers. Excellent visibility typically ranges from 10-25 meters, depending on season.
Located in Krabi’s Koh Phi Phi area of Thailand’s Andaman Sea, the King Cruiser remains one of Southeast Asia’s most spectacular wreck dives, blending historical interest with exceptional marine biodiversity.
