Dive Conditions
Puri Jati is a popular dive site located on Bali’s east coast in the Bali Sea, offering diverse underwater experiences suitable for intermediate divers. The site features a sloping reef system descending to approximately 25-40 meters, with excellent visibility ranging from 8-20 meters depending on conditions.
Divers explore vibrant coral gardens, rocky outcrops, and sandy patches teeming with marine life. The site is renowned for encounters with reef sharks, barracuda, and schools of trevally. Macro enthusiasts discover nudibranchs, sea horses, and various crustaceans among the corals. Pelagic species are commonly spotted in the blue water.
The reef structure provides excellent shelter for tropical fish species, including groupers, snappers, and wrasses. Visibility can vary seasonally, with optimal diving conditions typically occurring during the dry season (April-October).
Puri Jati presents moderate currents and is best suited for divers with some experience. The combination of abundant marine life, healthy coral formations, and accessible depth makes it a rewarding destination for underwater photography and general reef exploration.
