Meno Corner
# Meno Corner Dive Site
Dive Conditions
Meno Corner, located at Gili Meno in Indonesia’s Gili Islands, is a renowned dive destination offering exceptional marine biodiversity. This site features a dramatic underwater corner formation with a steep wall dropping to 40+ meters, suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.
Divers encounter vibrant coral gardens, including hard and soft corals that create a colorful reef landscape. The site is famous for encounters with large pelagic species, particularly manta rays, especially during the dry season (April-November). Schools of trevally, jacks, and barracuda frequently patrol the area, while reef fish including parrotfish, surgeonfish, and snappers inhabit the shallower sections.
The corner’s geography creates strong currents, attracting nutrient-rich water that supports abundant marine life. Depths range from 12 meters at the shallow shelf to 40+ meters along the wall, allowing flexibility for various skill levels. Recommended for divers with solid buoyancy control and experience with drift diving in moderate to strong currents.
