Turtle Ledge is a premier dive site located off Koh Surin in Phang Nga Province, Thailand. This scenic underwater formation features a gradual sloping ledge descending to depths of 12-25 meters, making it suitable for intermediate divers and above.
The site is renowned for its exceptional marine biodiversity and pristine coral gardens. Divers encounter vibrant hard and soft corals, colorful reef fish, and a diverse array of tropical species. The site’s namesake sea turtles are frequently spotted grazing on seagrass beds and exploring the reef. Additional marine life includes groupers, snappers, fusiliers, and occasional reef sharks.
Visibility typically ranges from 8-15 meters, depending on seasonal conditions. The gentle current and moderate depths make Turtle Ledge an ideal destination for building diving skills while experiencing rich marine ecosystems. The Andaman Sea’s warm waters and abundant wildlife create an unforgettable diving experience year-round, with peak conditions occurring during the dry season from November to April.
