Dive Conditions
Southeast Point is a premier dive site located off Koh Surin in Phang Nga Province, Thailand. This Andaman Sea destination offers depths ranging from 12 to 30 meters, making it suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.
The site features dramatic rocky outcrops and boulder formations creating natural swim-throughs and channels. Divers encounter vibrant coral gardens, including soft corals and anemones that thrive in the nutrient-rich waters.
Marine life encounters include reef sharks, groupers, barracuda, and schools of jacks. Smaller species like nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and octopuses are common for macro photography. The site also frequents larger pelagic species during seasonal migrations.
Southeast Point offers excellent visibility during optimal diving months (November to April), though conditions vary seasonally. The moderate to strong currents typical of this location provide exhilarating drift diving opportunities. The diverse topography and rich biodiversity make it a favorite among experienced divers exploring Thailand’s Andaman islands.
