Beacon Point, located in the Similan Islands of Phang Nga, Thailand, is a premier diving destination in the Andaman Sea. This moderate to advanced dive site features impressive granite boulder formations and steep walls that descend to depths of 20-40 meters, suitable for experienced divers.
The site is renowned for its vibrant marine biodiversity. Divers encounter reef sharks, barracuda, tuna, and grouper schooling around the rocks. Colorful coral gardens thrive on the boulder surfaces, hosting nudibranchs, scorpionfish, and octopuses. Macro photography enthusiasts will appreciate the abundant crustaceans and small reef fish.
