Dive Conditions
Boulder City is an exceptional diving destination located in the Similan Islands near Payang Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Thailand. This site features a dramatic underwater landscape composed of massive granite boulders creating caves, crevices, and swim-throughs that offer exciting exploration opportunities.
Divers encounter vibrant coral formations and abundant marine life, including reef sharks, groupers, snappers, and colorful reef fish. The site is known for encounters with larger pelagic species, making it ideal for experienced divers seeking diverse marine biodiversity.
Depths range from 5 to 40 meters, with the most interesting formations concentrated between 15-30 meters. The site’s complexity and strong currents make it suitable for intermediate to advanced divers with good buoyancy control and navigation skills.
