Explore the HTMS Sattakut, a remarkable artificial reef and wreck dive located off Koh Tao in Thailand’s Gulf of Thailand. This former Royal Thai Navy ship rests at depths of 15-40 meters, making it accessible to divers of intermediate to advanced skill levels.

The wreck structure features intact sections including the bridge, hull, and cargo holds, creating an exciting environment for exploration. Divers encounter vibrant marine life including groupers, barracudas, fusiliers, and occasionally reef sharks patrolling the surrounding waters. Colorful corals and anemones have colonized the wreck’s surfaces, hosting nudibranchs and crustaceans.

The site offers excellent visibility during optimal seasons and provides opportunities for both penetration diving and external exploration. Due to depth and current conditions, the HTMS Sattakut is best suited for divers with wreck experience. The dive combines natural marine biodiversity with unique artificial reef characteristics, making it one of Koh Tao’s most distinctive diving destinations.
