Discover the Twins, a spectacular dive site located at Nang Yuan Island in Ko Phangan District, Thailand. This popular Gulf of Thailand destination features two distinctive rock pinnacles rising from the seafloor, creating a dramatic underwater landscape.
Divers typically explore depths ranging from 12 to 24 meters, making this site suitable for intermediate divers with basic open water certification. The site offers excellent visibility, usually between 5-15 meters, depending on seasonal conditions.
The Twins showcase vibrant coral formations and rocky outcrops teeming with diverse marine life. Expect encounters with colorful reef fish, including fusiliers, snappers, and groupers. Larger pelagic species occasionally visit the site, while octopuses and moray eels inhabit the rocky crevices.
The site’s moderate currents and interesting topography make it an engaging dive experience. The twin peaks provide excellent opportunities for underwater photography and exploration, with numerous swim-throughs and crevices to investigate.
Best diving conditions occur during dry season months (February-April). The Twins remain accessible year-round, making it a reliable choice for divers exploring the Ko Phangan area.
