Racha Noi West Side offers an exceptional diving experience on the western edge of Racha Noi Island in Thailand’s Andaman Sea. This intermediate to advanced dive site features impressive granite boulder formations and dramatic underwater topography, descending to depths of 15-40 meters.
Divers encounter vibrant coral gardens, including hard and soft corals that thrive in the nutrient-rich waters. The site boasts abundant marine life, including colorful reef fish, snappers, trevally, and occasionally larger pelagic species like sharks and rays. Macro enthusiasts will appreciate encounters with nudibranchs, crustaceans, and other small creatures.
The current can be moderate to strong, particularly around the boulder formations, making it suitable for experienced divers. Visibility typically ranges from 10-25 meters depending on seasonal conditions. The Andaman Sea’s strong currents deliver excellent biodiversity, creating an action-packed underwater adventure.
