Banana Bay, located on Racha Noi Island near Phuket, is a premier dive site in Thailand’s Andaman Sea. This scenic destination offers depths ranging from 5 to 40 meters, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced divers.
The site features dramatic granite rock formations and vibrant coral gardens that create a visually stunning underwater landscape. Divers encounter excellent marine biodiversity, including colorful reef fish, sweetlips, snappers, and occasionally larger pelagic species like trevally and barracuda.
The site’s difficulty level is moderate, with generally calm conditions during the dry season (November to April). Strong currents can occur during monsoon periods, requiring advanced diving skills.
