Crystal Rock is a premier dive site located at Gili Lawalaut in Komodo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. This intermediate to advanced dive site features a dramatic rocky pinnacle rising from depths of 40+ meters, making it ideal for experienced divers seeking challenging conditions and spectacular marine encounters.

Divers navigate strong currents around the rock formation, where visibility typically ranges from 5-25 meters depending on tidal conditions. The site showcases vibrant coral-encrusted boulders and underwater rock formations creating dramatic topography.

Marine life at Crystal Rock is abundant and diverse. Expect encounters with pelagic species including reef sharks, tuna, and barracuda. The pinnacle attracts large schools of jacks and fusiliers, while manta rays and eagle rays frequently patrol the area. Smaller reef residents include nudibranchs, groupers, and colorful reef fish.

The challenging currents and significant depths require divers to be comfortable with drift diving and nitrox certification is recommended. Crystal Rock delivers an exhilarating experience for qualified divers exploring Komodo’s renowned marine biodiversity in the Flores Sea.
