Dive Conditions
Teluk Loh Sera, located in Komodo’s West Manggarai Regency, offers an exceptional diving experience in the Savu Sea. This site features dramatic underwater topography with steep walls, rocky outcrops, and sandy slopes descending to depths of 5-40 meters, suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.
Divers encounter vibrant coral gardens, including hard and soft corals adorning the reef structure. The site is renowned for encounters with large pelagic species, including reef sharks, trevally, and barracuda. Smaller marine life includes colorful reef fish, moray eels, octopuses, and nudibranchs.
The strong currents characteristic of the Sumba Strait create dynamic diving conditions, attracting schooling fish and larger predators. Visibility typically ranges from 10-25 meters, depending on seasonal conditions and tidal movements.
