German Flag is a premier dive site located in the Komodo region of West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Situated in the nutrient-rich waters of the Savu Sea and Sumba Strait, this site offers exceptional underwater experiences for intermediate to advanced divers.

The dive features dramatic underwater topography with steep walls and rocky outcrops descending to depths of 40-60 meters. Divers encounter strong currents typical of the strait, requiring good buoyancy control and experience.

Marine life is abundant and diverse, including schools of trevally, snappers, and groupers, alongside reef sharks and occasionally manta rays. The rocky formations support vibrant coral growth and provide habitat for nudibranchs, octopuses, and various crustaceans.

Visibility typically ranges from 15-25 meters, depending on tidal conditions and seasonal currents. The site’s challenging conditions and rich biodiversity make it ideal for experienced divers seeking thrilling encounters in one of Indonesia’s most dynamic marine ecosystems.
