Baracuda Point is a premier drift diving destination located off the coast of Bali, Indonesia, in the Bali Sea. This exhilarating site is renowned for its strong currents and abundant marine life, making it ideal for experienced divers seeking dynamic underwater adventures.
Divers explore a dramatic underwater landscape featuring steep drop-offs and rocky formations that create natural channels for nutrient-rich water flow. Depths range from 5 to 40 meters, with most activity concentrated between 12-30 meters.
The site’s primary attraction is its impressive pelagic life. Schools of barracuda, trevally, and jacks swarm the point, particularly during morning dives. Reef sharks, rays, and groupers are frequently spotted. Vibrant coral formations and schooling fish create a visually stunning environment.
Baracuda Point is recommended for intermediate to advanced divers due to its strong currents and open water conditions. Excellent buoyancy control and experience with drift diving are essential. The best diving conditions occur during the dry season from April to November, when visibility reaches 15-40 meters.
