# Tulamben Bay and Wall, Bali
Dive Conditions
Tulamben Bay and Wall offers spectacular diving in Bali’s northeastern coast, featuring the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck and dramatic underwater topography. This site caters to divers of all skill levels, with depths ranging from 5 to 40 meters.
Divers explore the liberty wreck, a 120-meter cargo ship sunk in 1942, alongside a stunning coral wall that drops into the blue. The bay’s calm, sandy bottom provides excellent conditions for beginners, while the wall challenges experienced divers with strong currents and deeper exploration.
Marine life thrives abundantly here. Expect encounters with schooling jacks, barracuda, snappers, and reef sharks. Smaller creatures include nudibranchs, gobies, and colorful reef fish. Turtles and occasional mola-mola rays add to the biodiversity.
The site features excellent visibility during dry seasons (April-October), typically 15-25 meters. Tulamben’s accessibility from nearby resorts and diverse dive experiences make it one of Bali’s premier diving destinations, perfect for both wreck enthusiasts and reef explorers.
