Snapper Alley is a dynamic dive site located at Bangu Island in Thailand’s renowned Similan Islands. This site features dramatic underwater topography with rocky outcrops and sandy channels that create an exciting exploration experience.

Divers typically encounter depths ranging from 12 to 30 meters, making it suitable for intermediate to advanced divers. The site is named for its abundant populations of large snapper fish that school throughout the area. Beyond snappers, the site hosts diverse marine life including groupers, fusiliers, trevally, and occasional reef sharks.

The rocky formations provide excellent habitat for coral growth and smaller reef dwellers such as nudibranches, crustaceans, and colorful reef fish. Strong currents are common at this location, making drift diving a typical approach.

Visibility generally ranges from 15 to 25 meters, varying seasonally. The site’s geology and active marine ecosystem make it a popular destination for experienced divers seeking dynamic underwater encounters in the Andaman Sea.
