Red Rock at Nang Yuan Island offers an exciting dive experience for intermediate to advanced divers. Located in the Gulf of Thailand off Ko Phangan, this site features a distinctive red-colored rocky formation that serves as a natural underwater landmark.
Divers typically explore depths ranging from 12 to 25 meters, where encounters with abundant marine life are common. The site is known for sightings of barracuda, large groupers, fusiliers, and schools of trevally. Sea turtles and reef sharks occasionally visit the area, while smaller reef fish and crustaceans populate the rocky crevices.
The underwater topography includes steep drop-offs and interesting rock formations that create diverse habitats. Strong currents can occur, making this site best suited for divers with some experience navigating challenging conditions.
