Nang Yuan Pinnacle is a premier dive site located off the coast of Nang Yuan Island in Ko Phangan District, Surat Thani Province, Thailand. This stunning underwater formation features dramatic rock pinnacles rising from the seabed, creating an impressive landscape for divers of intermediate to advanced skill levels.
The site descends to depths of 5-40 meters, offering exploration suitable for various experience levels. Divers encounter vibrant coral formations, boulder fields, and sandy channels that characterize this unique geological structure. The pinnacles create excellent opportunities for drift diving when currents are present.
Marine life is abundant, including colorful reef fish, groupers, snappers, and occasional pelagic species. Macro enthusiasts will appreciate nudibranchs, crustaceans, and small reef creatures found throughout the site. Visibility typically ranges from 10-25 meters, varying seasonally.
The site’s moderate difficulty makes it accessible to certified divers with some experience, though experienced divers will find challenging deep sections.
