Batu Abah, known as Vertigo Point, is an exhilarating dive site located in Nusa Penida, Bali, within the Lombok Strait. This challenging pinnacle dive offers depths ranging from 12 to 40+ meters, making it suitable for advanced divers only.
The site features dramatic underwater rock formations and a steep pinnacle that drops into the blue. Divers encounter strong currents characteristic of the Lombok Strait, requiring excellent buoyancy control and experience. Visibility typically ranges from 5 to 20 meters, depending on conditions.
Marine life at Batu Abah is abundant and diverse. Expect encounters with large pelagic species including reef sharks, trevally, and barracuda. The pinnacle and surrounding reefs attract groupers, snappers, and schools of fusiliers. Macro life includes nudibranchs, crustaceans, and colorful reef fish.
