Waterfall Wall is a spectacular dive site located off Racha Yai Island in Phuket’s Andaman Sea. This intermediate to advanced dive features a dramatic vertical rock formation that descends into deeper waters, resembling a cascading waterfall when viewed from above.
Divers explore colorful coral-covered walls teeming with tropical marine life. The site is renowned for encounters with barracuda, trevally, grouper, and occasional reef sharks. The vibrant reef supports abundant smaller species including angelfish, butterflyfish, and nudibranchs.
Depths range from 12 to 40+ meters, with the main wall starting at approximately 18 meters. The site is suitable for experienced divers due to strong currents that can occur during certain seasons. Visibility typically reaches 10-25 meters, depending on weather and tide conditions.
Best visited during dry season (November to April) when sea conditions are calmer. Waterfall Wall offers an unforgettable experience of the Andaman Sea’s rich biodiversity and dramatic underwater topography, making it a highlight destination for divers exploring Thailand’s southern islands.
