Hin Dot is a scenic dive site located near Koh Phi Phi in Krabi, Thailand, within the stunning Andaman Sea. This site features dramatic granite rock formations and colorful coral gardens that create visually stunning underwater landscapes.
Divers typically explore depths ranging from 12 to 30 meters, making it suitable for intermediate and advanced divers. The site’s rocky terrain provides excellent habitat for diverse marine life, including tropical fish species, moray eels, octopuses, and occasionally larger pelagic species.
The moderate to strong currents common to this area require good diving skills and experience. Visibility varies seasonally, generally ranging from 15 to 25 meters during optimal conditions. The underwater topography offers interesting passages and overhangs to explore around the granite boulders.
