Tanjung Silayukti, commonly known as Shark Point, is a premier diving destination in Bali’s Lombok Strait. This challenging site features dramatic underwater topography with steep drop-offs and strong currents that attract experienced divers seeking thrilling encounters.
Divers descend to depths of 25-40 meters, where they navigate through boulder formations and rocky outcrops. The site’s strong currents create a dynamic diving environment, requiring advanced skills and proper buoyancy control.
The marine life at Shark Point is exceptional. Gray reef sharks are frequently spotted patrolling the deeper sections, alongside blacktip reef sharks. Divers also encounter large groupers, snappers, jacks, and schools of barracuda. Pelagic species such as tunas and trevally are common, while occasional manta rays appear seasonally.
The underwater landscape showcases pristine coral formations and healthy reef systems. Visibility typically ranges from 15-25 meters, varying with sea conditions.
