Shaab Shehr is a premier reef system located in Qesm Safaga, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt. This Indian Ocean dive site offers stunning coral formations and abundant marine biodiversity ideal for intermediate to advanced divers.
Divers explore pristine hard and soft coral gardens featuring vibrant table corals, branching acropora, and dense coral walls. The reef slopes gradually to depths of 20-40 meters, accommodating various skill levels while challenging experienced divers.
Marine life encounters include colorful reef fish species, parrotfish, groupers, snappers, and rays. The site frequently hosts pelagic visitors including sharks and barracuda, particularly during optimal seasonal conditions.
