Serib Soraya is a premier diving destination located in Qesm Al Qoseir, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt. This Indian Ocean site offers intermediate divers an exciting underwater experience with depths ranging from 12 to 40 meters. The dive features dramatic coral formations and rock structures that create an engaging topography for exploration.
Divers encounter vibrant coral gardens hosting diverse Red Sea marine life, including colorful reef fish, groupers, snappers, and occasionally larger pelagic species. The site is known for its healthy coral ecosystems and abundance of tropical fish species that thrive in these warm waters.
The reef’s structure provides excellent opportunities for both wall dives and reef exploration, with plenty of visual interest throughout the descent. Visibility typically ranges from 15 to 25 meters, depending on seasonal conditions, allowing divers to fully appreciate the underwater landscape.
Serib Soraya is best suited for divers with some experience due to occasional currents and depth variations. The site’s combination of accessible depths and spectacular marine biodiversity makes it a worthwhile addition to any Red Sea diving itinerary.
