Rasdhoo Channel is a thrilling drift dive located in Kuramathi, Ari Atoll, Maldives. This iconic site features a narrow channel between two islands, characterized by stunning coral-covered walls and vibrant reef structures that drop to depths of 20-40 meters.
Divers experience strong currents that make this an intermediate to advanced dive, ideal for those comfortable with drift diving. The channel walls are adorned with soft and hard corals, offering spectacular scenery throughout the descent.
Marine life is abundant, with frequent sightings of reef sharks, eagle rays, and trevally schools patrolling the channel. Smaller creatures include colorful reef fish, groupers, and occasional tuna. The nutrient-rich currents attract larger pelagic species, particularly during season transitions.
