Lankan Beyru is a renowned reef dive site located in Himmafushi, North Male Atoll, in the Maldives’ Kaafu Atoll. Situated in the Indian Ocean, this site offers excellent diving experiences for intermediate to advanced divers.
The dive typically reaches depths of 20-40 meters, with a vibrant coral garden visible at shallower levels. Divers explore pristine reef formations decorated with hard and soft corals, creating a colorful underwater landscape.
Marine life encounters are frequent and diverse. The site hosts abundant reef fish including snappers, trevally, and groupers. Larger pelagics such as sharks and rays regularly patrol the reef edges, while smaller creatures like nudibranchs and crustaceans inhabit the coral structures.
