Koh Bida Nok is a premier diving destination located off Koh Phi Phi in Krabi, Thailand. This dramatic limestone pinnacle rises from the Andaman Sea, offering exceptional underwater topography with steep walls and thrilling vertical descents. Divers explore stunning rock formations, underwater caves, and crevices teeming with marine life.
The site features depths ranging from 5 to 40 meters, making it suitable for intermediate to advanced divers. Visibility typically reaches 15-30 meters, revealing vibrant coral gardens and diverse species. Marine encounters include reef sharks, groupers, snappers, trevally, sweetlips, and occasional barracuda schools. Macro life like nudibranchs and crustaceans populate the rocky surfaces.
The strong currents characteristic of this area create challenging conditions, requiring solid buoyancy control and experience. Drift diving is common, allowing divers to cover considerable ground while observing the abundant aquatic ecosystem. Koh Bida Nok remains one of Thailand’s most rewarding and challenging dive sites, best visited during the dry season from November to May.
