Arborec Jetty is a premier diving destination located off Mansuar Island in Raja Ampat, West Papua. This site features a wooden jetty structure descending into the nutrient-rich waters of the Halmahera Sea, creating an exceptional macro and small fish habitat.
Divers explore dramatic underwater topography with depths ranging from 5 to 30 meters, suitable for intermediate to advanced divers. The jetty pilings are encrusted with vibrant coral growth and soft corals, attracting abundant marine life. Expect encounters with schooling fusiliers, trevally, groupers, and colorful reef fish, along with nudibranchs, seahorses, and various crustaceans hidden within the structure.
The site’s unique ecology supports dense populations of smaller species, making it ideal for macro photography and biodiversity observation. Strong currents are common, adding an element of challenge and delivering nutrient-rich water that sustains the thriving ecosystem. Visibility typically ranges from 10-20 meters, depending on conditions.
