Anchor Wreck is a captivating dive site located in the Bali Sea near Bali, Indonesia, ideal for intermediate to advanced divers. Situated at depths ranging from 12 to 40 meters, this fascinating underwater destination showcases the remains of a wooden vessel lying on a sandy bottom.
Divers exploring this wreck encounter an abundance of marine life thriving in and around the structure. Schools of fusiliers, snappers, and trevally patrol the wreck, while curious batfish and trumpetfish navigate through the debris. Nudibranchs, sea stars, and various crustaceans inhabit the crevices, adding to the site’s biodiversity.
The wreck’s deteriorated sections create excellent opportunities for macro photography and exploration of penetration-safe areas. Strong currents are common, making this site suitable for experienced divers comfortable with drift diving techniques. Visibility typically ranges from 8 to 20 meters, depending on seasonal conditions.
