Abu Hashish Lagoon offers an exceptional diving experience in Safaga’s protected waters. Located in the Red Sea Governorate of Egypt, this lagoon features pristine coral formations and crystal-clear visibility, making it ideal for divers of all skill levels.
The site reaches depths of 5-25 meters, with gentle slopes suitable for beginners and recreational divers. The lagoon’s shallow profile makes it perfect for extended bottom time and photography.

The calm lagoon conditions and minimal current make Abu Hashish an accessible introduction to Red Sea diving. Excellent visibility typically ranges from 15-30 meters, depending on season.
