Utopia Housereef Northcave is a premier dive site located in Qesm Al Qoseir along Egypt’s Red Sea coast. This accessible housereef dive features a dramatic northerly-facing cave system that attracts divers of intermediate to advanced skill levels.
The site showcases stunning geological formations, including towering coral-encrusted walls and intricate cave passages that create dynamic light displays. Divers exploring the cave encounter vibrant soft corals, sponges, and dense fish populations.
Marine life is abundant, featuring groupers, snappers, fusiliers, and various reef fish species. Eagle rays and occasional larger pelagics patrol the deeper waters, while smaller reef creatures like nudibranches and crustaceans inhabit sheltered crevices.
Depths range from shallow coral terraces at 5-10 meters to cave floors descending to 20-30 meters. The northcave passages can extend deeper for experienced divers.
