Serib Kebir South is an exceptional diving destination located in Qesm Al Qoseir, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt. This Red Sea site features dramatic underwater topography with steep walls and coral formations that attract divers of all experience levels.
Divers exploring Serib Kebir South encounter vibrant coral gardens, including hard and soft corals that create a colorful underwater landscape. The site is abundant with Red Sea marine life, including reef fish, groupers, snappers, and pelagic species such as jacks and barracuda. Occasionally, larger species including rays and sharks patrol the deeper sections.
The site typically offers depths ranging from 20 to 40+ meters, accommodating both recreational and advanced divers. The wall structure provides excellent opportunities for drift diving, where currents carry divers along the reef face.
Difficulty levels vary depending on depth and current conditions, making certain sections suitable for intermediate to advanced divers. Strong currents can occur, particularly during certain seasons, requiring proper planning and experience.
