Discover Giftun Ham Ham, also known as Pierre’s Hill, a premier diving destination located in Qesm Hurghada within Egypt’s Red Sea Governorate. This fascinating site features dramatic underwater topography with steep coral-covered slopes and sandy plateaus that create varied diving experiences suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.
Divers encounter spectacular coral formations, vibrant soft and hard corals, and abundant marine life throughout the site. Common sightings include reef sharks, groupers, snappers, fusiliers, and schools of barracuda. Sea turtles and rays are also frequently observed patrolling the reef.
Depths range from approximately 5 meters at the shallow plateau to 40+ meters along the deeper slopes, accommodating various skill levels. The site’s moderate to strong currents add an element of adventure and typically make drift diving the preferred technique.
