Ulysses is a compelling wreck dive located off Jubal Island in Hurghada’s Red Sea waters. This intermediate to advanced site features a submerged vessel resting at depths between 20-40 meters, offering technical diving challenges and historical exploration opportunities.

Divers navigate through the wreck’s structure, discovering intact sections, cargo holds, and mechanical features preserved by the Red Sea’s conditions. The site showcases excellent visibility typical of Hurghada’s offshore locations, allowing detailed examination of the wreck’s deterioration and marine colonization.

Marine life thrives throughout the Ulysses wreck. Divers encounter groupers, snappers, jacks, and barracuda patrolling the structure. Lionfish, scorpionfish, and moray eels inhabit crevices and internal compartments. The wreck’s exterior supports coral growth and provides habitat for nudibranchs, crustaceans, and smaller reef fish.

The site’s depth and technical aspects make it suitable for experienced divers with wreck training. Strong currents occasionally affect the area, requiring proper planning and buoyancy control. Ulysses remains a premier Red Sea wreck destination combining historical interest with vibrant marine biodiversity.
