Shaab Ali is a pristine reef system located in the Red Sea near Tur Sina in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. This exceptional dive site features dramatic coral formations and vibrant underwater landscapes that attract divers of all experience levels.
The shallow reef top, beginning at approximately 5-12 meters, is ideal for beginners and snorkelers, while deeper sections extend to 25-30 meters for more experienced divers. Divers explore stunning hard and soft coral gardens teeming with tropical fish species including groupers, snappers, and fusiliers. The site is renowned for encounters with reef sharks, rays, and occasionally pelagic species.
Shaab Ali’s moderate currents make it an accessible yet engaging dive requiring basic to intermediate skills.
