Barracuda Point is a premier dive site located in the Ari Atoll of the Maldives, offering thrilling encounters with large pelagic species. Situated in the Indian Ocean, this site is renowned for its dramatic underwater topography and abundant marine life.
Divers descend to depths ranging from 15 to 40 meters, where they explore a steep coral wall and sandy plateau. The site features vibrant hard and soft coral formations alongside rocky outcrops that create a dynamic underwater landscape.
The main attraction is the spectacular schooling behavior of giant barracuda, which congregate in impressive numbers. Divers also encounter reef sharks, including whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, along with groupers, jacks, and snappers. Seasonal visits may reveal manta rays and eagle rays gliding through the blue water.
