Dive Conditions
Nasfaru is a premier diving destination located in Haa Alif Atoll, northern Maldives, situated in the Indian Ocean. This site offers an exceptional underwater experience suitable for intermediate to advanced divers, with depths ranging from 15 to 40+ meters.
Divers at Nasfaru encounter vibrant coral formations, dramatic drop-offs, and thriving reef ecosystems. The site features impressive bommies and steep walls decorated with hard and soft corals in brilliant colors. Marine life is abundant, including reef sharks, tuna, jacks, barracuda, and grouper. Smaller species such as butterflyfish, parrotfish, and wrasse are commonly spotted navigating the reef structures.
The site is best suited for experienced divers due to potential strong currents and the depth of its deeper sections. Excellent visibility typically ranges from 20 to 40 meters, making it ideal for underwater photography and exploration of the diverse reef inhabitants.
