Kihaadhoo Thila is a premier thila dive site located in Baa Atoll, Maldives, offering an exceptional underwater experience in the Indian Ocean. This submerged pinnacle features dramatic topography, with the reef top beginning at approximately 5 meters and descending to around 30-40 meters, making it suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.

The site attracts abundant marine life, including reef sharks, trevally, snappers, and groupers that patrol the nutrient-rich waters. Divers encounter vibrant coral formations adorning the thila’s slopes, along with schools of fusiliers and barracuda. Macro enthusiasts discover nudibranchs, shrimp, and other small creatures among the coral crevices.

Kihaadhoo Thila is best dived during slack water, as strong currents can develop on incoming or outgoing tides. The site’s excellent visibility and thriving ecosystem make it a favorite among both recreational and technical divers exploring Baa Atoll’s diverse underwater landscape.
