# Fushivaru Corner
Dive Conditions
Fushivaru Corner is a premier drift diving destination in Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives, offering thrilling underwater experiences in the Indian Ocean. Located at Fushifaru, this site features dramatic topography with a steep corner and vibrant coral formations that descend to depths of 25-40 meters.
Divers encounter an impressive array of pelagic marine life, including reef sharks, trevally, groupers, and schools of barracuda. The nutrient-rich currents attract large fish species and occasional manta rays and eagle rays. Smaller reef dwellers such as parrotfish, snappers, and various butterflyfish species add to the biodiversity.
The site’s challenging conditions make it suitable for intermediate to advanced divers comfortable with moderate to strong currents. The drift nature of the dive demands good buoyancy control and current awareness. Visibility typically ranges from 20-40 meters, providing excellent sightings of both pelagic and reef species.
Fushivaru Corner is best dived during incoming tides and rewards experienced divers with spectacular encounters in one of the Maldives’ most dynamic diving environments.
