Beyru Thila is a premier diving destination in Ari Atoll, Maldives, located in the Indian Ocean. This underwater thila (reef pinnacle) offers exceptional marine biodiversity and stunning coral formations suitable for intermediate to advanced divers.
The site features a shallow reef top beginning at approximately 5-12 meters, descending to depths of 25-40 meters. Divers encounter vibrant hard and soft coral gardens, colorful reef fish, and excellent opportunities to observe pelagic species. The thila is known for frequent sightings of reef sharks, including blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, along with trevally schools and barracuda.
The pinnacle’s healthy coral ecosystem supports abundant tropical fish life, including groupers, snappers, and fusiliers. Seasonal currents can create challenging conditions, making it ideal for experienced divers seeking dynamic drift dives.
