Zabargad is a pristine island dive destination in Egypt’s Red Sea, located in Qesm Shlatin. This remote site offers exceptional diving experiences for intermediate to advanced divers seeking untouched marine environments.

The dive site features dramatic underwater topography with steep drop-offs and coral-laden slopes descending to depths of 40-60 meters. Divers encounter vibrant coral gardens, including hard and soft corals teeming with biodiversity.

Marine life is abundant and diverse. Expect encounters with schools of barracuda, groupers, snappers, and jacks. Pelagic species including sharks, rays, and tuna frequently patrol the deeper waters. Smaller creatures like nudibranchs, octopi, and crustaceans inhabit the coral formations.

Visibility typically ranges from 20-40 meters, depending on season and conditions. The currents can be strong, making this site best suited for experienced divers comfortable with drift diving and deeper depths.

Zabargad remains relatively underdeveloped, preserving its pristine conditions and making it ideal for divers seeking authentic, less-crowded Red Sea experiences with exceptional marine encounters.
